The audio is fine, but the visuals make it great to me, like, I love it when flash animators dont tween and dont stay on model. Really differentiates from the majority of shit out there.

Drew me in on the first frame

Great keyframes and color design, looks unlike most things I've seen on NewGrounds. It would be interesting to see how you tackle a conventional narrative animation next.

The pacing is slow enough to make it both funny and disturbing. Great work.

nice and quick, solid

The art design was good, like, it feels like there's a lot of depth to the enviroments in this flash in a way i dont see in other flash movies.

I gave it a eight because it's a solid gag pretty well animated. There's some squash and stretch action too! One thing I have a minor nitpick about is that the kid's hands seem to be too much like an adult's..I dunno, good work!

I like your coming timing and animation, and really wonder sometimes whether you should just double down for a month and do a long flash animation instead of just a riff. This animation was good, and I would like to see characters like these extended across five-ten mins--maybe it could be your demo reel to show cartoon network or something. I dunno. I'm just rambling now, good work!

Done before, and better

I gave it a four because it's a decent flash doodle, but you need to add more to it before presenting it. Like, this joke has been made before...so what did you add to it? Nothing.

You need to keep hating bro, because I love it. I think these guys are the same people who ask others what they use to animate things with, because they think the tools are more important than the fundamentals of drawing or animating.

Good stuff, man

I like how fat Ash is, and the animation was a delight--I love how you dont give a fuck about staying on some static character set, you allow yourself to distort the hell out of them but, here's the thing: the parody script itself is sort of predictable.

It deserves an eight because the hardest parts of any flash, animation and timing, are well done here, but the "easiest" portion, the jokes, don't work for me. Awesome Chaotix was totally out of left field with its subject matter and the twists it had, there's no twist at all with this flash. It played out surprisingly straight. I'm a fan and I don't mean to hate, but it felt like the awesome chaotix cartoon was the first of a new line of Awesome cartoons where you set up a storyline, point to something we expect to happen, and then fuck with our expectations. Maybe that's too much to ask for every cartoon, but well, you've progressed so far and I don't want you to stagnate.

It's awful animations in a unique, fun way

I kind of think you guys should'nt even bother with a story or doing parodies of games, it's the stuff thats within it that are hilarious--like these ridiculous, poorly defined characters moving in a realistic but fucked up way. Some part of me thinks you guys dont know what's so genius about it.
